Payday: The Heist Review

In no other games does 4 minutes sucks as much as it does in this game. The game revolves around a team of 4 players pulling off all kinds of criminal jobs, from robbing banks, to collecting a deadly disease from an isolation ward patient in a hospital. Right from the start, I have to say that this game is absolutely made for multiplayer. If you do play single player, be prepared to get no help from your team, as the only thing they can do is shoot. This makes jobs take much longer, and thus allows for more hostiles to make your life a living hell. The second thing about the game is the message of DO NOT MESS WITH THE POLICE! In the game, there are assault waves that try and arrest your teammates. Now a few SWAT wouldn't be so bad, but every assault wave has about 50 guys coming at you. To just make it worse, they also start to come from everywhere (stairs, elevator shafts, the ceiling, etc.). Again, this is okay when the guys with no body armor, but when the guys in bomb suits start to come in, well... Let's just say it is very bad. Overall, the gameplay is very fun. Now the bad stuff. It takes a ridiculously long time to unlock new weapons and equipment. Note: It may just be me that thinks it takes a long time, as I am a very impatient person. Also, there are very short breaks in assault waves, starting at 30 seconds, and then slowly declining. I think they could of also done more with hostages, like delay an assault wave. In this game, you can only use hostages to get back team members that have been taken into custody by the police. That is my opinion on this game, and please let it be known that a sequel is coming out, and I have not played it, so I do not know if they fixed any of these downsides. Hope you enjoyed this post, and stay tuned for more.
